Getting to Proud to Run

Proud to Run 2019 will take place at Montrose Harbor, 600 W Montrose Harbor Blvd, Chicago, IL. Check back here soon for race maps!
The event is accessible via the following CTA Bus Routes:
- 81 – Lawrence
- 78 – Montrose
- 80 – Irving Park
- 146 – Inner Drive/Michigan Express
- 151 – Sheridan
- 36 – Broadway
We highly encourage use of public transportation, as parking around Montrose Harbor is limited. There will also be plenty of bike racks onsite.
Parking Near Proud to Run
A metered parking lot is available across from the starting line. Access to this lot is only via Montrose Drive, as North Simonds Drive is closed for the race. Street parking is not available on Montrose Drive or North Simmons Drive, as they are portions of the race course.
Awards will be presented to the top 3 finishers (female-indentifying, male-indentifying and non-binary-indentifying) and top teams (all-female-indentifying, all-male-indentifying and co-ed). Age group awards will be in the following categories: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84 and 85 & Over.
Proud To Run will be scored using a chip scoring system, with each race bib having a timing chip affixed to the back. Official timing begins when the participant crosses the start mat and ends when the participant crosses the finish line. Participants must cross the mats at the start and finish lines to be timed and must wear a chip to have a result recorded.
