2019 Packet Pickup

RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP
Race Day packet pickup will occur at Montrose Harbor on June 29, 2019 from 6-7:30am.
In order to pick up another registrant’s packet, you must have a copy of their registration confirmation email. 

Individual Fundraising

New for Proud to Run 2019, participants can help raise funds for our fabulous beneficiaries! Set up your Individual Fundraising page when your register for this year’s race, and share it across your social media platforms. Participants who raise at least $100 will get a special thank you in our post-race program!

Getting to Proud to Run

Location

Proud to Run 2019 will take place at Montrose Harbor, 600 W Montrose Harbor Blvd, Chicago, IL. Check back here soon for race maps!

The event is accessible via the following CTA Bus Routes:

East-West

  • 81 – Lawrence
  • 78 – Montrose
  • 80 – Irving Park


North-South

  • 146 – Inner Drive/Michigan Express
  • 151 – Sheridan
  • 36 – Broadway

We highly encourage use of public transportation, as parking around Montrose Harbor is limited. There will also be plenty of bike racks onsite.


Parking Near Proud to Run

A metered parking lot is available across from the starting line. Access to this lot is only via Montrose Drive, as North Simonds Drive is closed for the race. Street parking is not available on Montrose Drive or North Simmons Drive, as they are portions of the race course.

Awards Ceremony

Awards will be presented to the top 3 finishers (female-indentifying, male-indentifying and non-binary-indentifying) for each of the 3 distances, and the top team on race day. Age group awards in the following categories — 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39,40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84 and 85 & Over — will be presented as an electronic certificate emailed to the participants after race day.

Timing

Proud To Run will be scored using a chip scoring system, with each race bib having a timing chip affixed to the back. Official timing begins when the participant crosses the start mat and ends when the participant crosses the finish line. Participants must cross the mats at the start and finish lines to be timed and must wear a chip to have a result recorded.
